IMPORTANT
- This Hotfix release addresses a critical issue found in version 6.0.4.41185.
- The notes below outline all changes since the latest minor release (6.0.4.41185).
BREAKING CHANGES
Please review carefully—several deprecations may impact your environment:
- Cloud support for VMS versions 4.2 and 5.0 will end August–September 2025.
- Support for Server versions 4.2 and below will end in Mobile 25.2 (August–September 2025).
- Raspberry Pi 3 support is discontinued.
- Ubuntu 18.04 support will end in the next major release (6.1).
- MacOS 11 support will end in the next major release (6.1)..
- Raspberry OS 10 support will end in the next major release (6.1).
BUG FIXES
- Resolved an issue where camera streams became pixelated during motion.

GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS
- VCA Edge Server no longer creates core dump files after crashes, saving internal space.
- Japanese translations improved.
- Improved logging of mobile notifications that were previously written into Server logs.
- On Ubuntu Linux, multiple USB cameras can now be detected.
ANALYTICS IMPROVEMENTS / FIXES
- Only the first object was detected on Dahua ITC413-PW4D-IZ1. Fixed.
- Objects detected on Hikvision iDS-2CD7146G0-IZS did not trigger actions. Fixed.
- Analytic events (IVA) did not work on Bosch cameras. Fixed.

Device-Specific Fixes:
- Axis Q8742-E: Channel 2 stream would not display after upgrading to v6.0.x. Fixed.
- Suprema FaceStation F2 (Firmware v2.2.1): RTSP stream could not be played after upgrading to v6.0.x. Fixed.
- Axis P3267-LVE Mic: Audio could not be enabled. Fixed.
- Dallmeier Panomera S8 remained “Unauthorized” after discovery despite correct password. Fixed.
- Cameras receiving audio from Axis I/O devices did not play sound. Fixed.
- Incorrect menu item and icon displayed for Adam I/O module. Fixed.
- i-Pro S32402-F2L went offline with camera optimization enabled. Fixed.
- Hikvision NVR DS-7216HUHI-K2 went offline after upgrading to 6.0.2. Fixed.
- Input events did not work on Hikvision DS-2CD2523G2-IS models. Fixed.
- IqEye IQM62W / IQ762W: MPEG used instead of H264, causing high bitrate. Fixed.

General UI Fixes:
- "Cell Spacing" context menu did not respond to Ctrl + mouse wheel. Fixed.
- Desktop Client could crash on MacOS after sleep when viewing Cross-Site Layouts. Fixed.
- Camera items moved slightly during PTZ in full-screen. Fixed.
- Untranslated strings in Desktop Client and Web Admin. Fixed.
- Incorrect form display in Japanese mode. Fixed.
- Line Crossing detection lines disappeared during zoom. Fixed.
- Desktop Client crashed when viewing some NOV files. Fixed.
- Crash when zooming cameras with DirectX enabled on Windows. Fixed.
- Merging with a non-existent host showed “Invalid Login/Password.” Fixed.
- Incorrect button sizes in Windows installer (Japanese). Fixed.
- Previous owner disabled instead of deleted after ownership transfer. Fixed.

- Incorrect placeholder "Unavailable" shown for offline cameras. Fixed.
- "Server Offline" incorrectly shown for offline cameras. Fixed.
- "Login with Cloud" sometimes redirected back to Web Admin. Fixed.
- Selecting bottom-list devices multiple times reset selection. Fixed.
API / SDK Fixes:
- Large audit log API requests caused high RAM usage or crash. Fixed.
- RTSP streaming failed when username contained capital letters. Fixed.
Hanwha ONLY:
- Streaming from Hanwha DVRs failed after upgrading to 6.0.x. Fixed.
