IMPORTANT

  • UBUNTU 14.04 SUPPORT: Ubuntu 14.04 is no longer supported due to official end of life in April 2019. Please upgrade to Ubuntu 16 or later before updating to this version to avoid issues!
  • 32-BIT SUPPORT: 32 Bit operating system (both Windows and Ubuntu Linux) installation packages are no longer supported. If you have a system with any 32-bit server, the upgrade will not work.
  • 0 BETA USERS. Before installing the release version, please remove the old analytics data and plugins. See “https://cloud.pikovms.com/download/” for details
  • Beginning January 1, 2020, users that are using 3.2.0.208xx build or any older versions will encounter issues when installing or running the VMS in Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016. It is recommended to upgrade or apply a workaround. See “https://cloud.pikovms.com/download/”

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Added web-page to media server settings documentation.
  • Default period of scheduled database backup was changed to 1 week (6 weeks maximum).

BUG FIXES

  • Sometimes user could not log in to the system after cloud merge. Fixed.
  • Fixed an issue with high memory usage during UDP video stream recording.
  • Web Page Calendar worked incorrectly on Windows in time zones with DST. Fixed.
  • Fixed an issue concerning cloud users with a TLD greater than 6 chars.
  • There was no warning about the minimum requirements for the Client application. Fixed.
  • Graphical artifacts observed on different Mac devices. Fixed.
  • No audio in RTSP tracks from server with multicast streams as a source. Fixed.
  • Fixed H.265 decoding issue for generic multicast.
  • Sometimes the desktop client was frozen after jumping from an archived video to a live stream.
  • Stream URL was not refreshed after applying some changes on “Expert” tab. Fixed.
  • Modal windows faded into the background on Mac OS 10.15. Fixed
  • Media server stopped working correctly if Advanced settings for an analog encoder were changed from the desktop client. Fixed.
  • Preview search in the desktop client worked incorrectly. Fixed.
  • Not all screens were displayed in video wall overview mode. Fixed.
  • “Keep camera stream and profile settings” became enabled after disabling and re-enabling “Allow System to optimize camera settings”. Fixed.
  • Fixed different media server and client crashes.

NEW DEVICE SUPPORT/IMPROVEMENTS/FIXES

  • ACTI B78 camera could not be auto-discovered. Fixed.
  • Forced ONVIF for cameras:
  • ACTI Z31, Z32, Z81, Z82, Z76, Z91, Z92, Z950, A950
  • Found a workaround for the issue with Dahua URLs streams.
  • Fixed an issue with encoder selection for secondary streams on ONVIF cameras.
  • Primary stream resolution was too low for Amcrest IP4M-1026. Fixed.

HANWHA DEVICES SUPPORT/IMPROVEMENTS/FIXES:

  • There was “Too Many Connections” issue if more than 5 NVR channels were opened on Scene. Fixed.
